Talofa and Welcome to Olivias Accommodation Samoa

Continuing the tradition of Samoan Hospitality for over 30 years, Olivias Accommodation provides the perfect location and the right amenities for the budget traveller.

After some years of hibernation, Olivias is back as the premier Budget Accommodation to stop and rest and was officially re-opened on the 1st November, 2011.

  1. Location

    Olivias is perfectly located on the Main East Coast Road next to the well-known Apia Park sporting complex. It is within easy distance to all the places of interest in Apia.

    From Apia's central clock tower to the complex is a ten-minute walk along the Harbour foreshore or a very short bus or taxi ride.

  2. Bookings

    Payment for all Bookings is required prior to Check-in. We accept all major credit cards or cash.

    All payments made via credit card with Olivias Accommodation will incur a 1.036% card handling fee.

  4. Cancellation / Prepayment

    Olivias Accommodation has a non-refundable cancellation policy.

    Payment for all Bookings is required prior to Check-in. We accept all major credit cards or cash.

  5. Check-in

    Check-in times are from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

    Should your arrival fall outside the normal Check-in hours, please contact Olivias Accommodation to organise a late Check-in time prior to your arrival.

    Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon Check-in.

  6. Check-out

    Check-out times are from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

  7. Breakfast

    A continental breakfast served daily in the Common area is included with all bookings. Our guests appreciate the quality and variety.

  8. Lunch / Dinner

    As Olivias is a Bed & Breakfast, guests are free to choose from a variety of local restaurants and cuisines for their lunch or dinner options.

    Guests are also provided with the use of our Shared Kitchen facilities should they wish to prepare any food for themselves.

  9. Rooms

    Rooms - Twin, Double, Triple or Quad Share - are available depending on your preferences. The Triple and Quad rooms are ideal for families or small groups.

    All rooms are air-conditioned and have fans.

    A Three-bedroom Holiday Home is also available for booking.

    Rooms are serviced every 4 days, or upon request.

  10. Groups

    When booking more than 3 rooms, different policies and additional fees may apply.

  11. Children & Beds

    Children of all ages are welcome.

    Cribs and extra beds are not available at Olivias.

  12. Age Restriction

    The minimum age for Check-in is 18. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

  13. Pets

    Pets are not allowed.

  14. Laundry

    Washing is best done at the Laundromat located a few minutes down the road.

  15. Parking

    Plenty of Free accessable private parking is available on site (reservation is not needed).

  16. Curfew

    The entrance to the property is closed between midnight and 6am.

  17. Internet Access

    FREE Wi-Fi is provided to our guests on a RESPONSIBLE USE POLICY. In the consideration of others, please LIMIT YOUR USE TO AN AS-NEEDED BASIS. Please read our Wi-Fi Access Policy for full Terms and Conditions.

  18. Taxi Fares

    A nominal taxi fare to/from town would be about 6 Tala in local currency.

    A taxi fare to/from the Faleolo International Airport is approximately 84 Tala in local currency.

  19. Shuttle Bus Service

    Autobots Transport Samoa provides a Shuttle Bus Service to/from the airport to the major tourist centers, resorts and hotels and costs WST26 with Autobots.

    They can be booked before arrival or can be arranged upon arrival after customs clearance. Upon booking please mention any special assistance you may require.

  20. Local SIM Cards

    Local SIM cards can be purchased from Michelle's about a 5 minute walk from Olivias. They also provide data top-ups. The supermarket located next-door provides data top-ups only.

  21. ATM

    The closest ATM is about 1km from Olivias located next to Frankies Supermarket. The BSP ATM (formerly Westpac) accepts all major bank cards.

  22. Public Transport

    Buses and Taxis are readily available from the roadside. Buses do not operate on Sundays, however Taxis are available.

  23. Neighborhood Info

    A small supermarket that closes at 1 am daily is just next door to the property. A bigger supermarket Frankies, that closes at 9 pm daily (closed on Sunday) is about 5 min away up the road.

    A 5 minute walk will take you to the waterfront at Vaiala and further down is Palolo Deep for snorkeling. Further along on to the wharf and waterfront are more bars and restaurants.

    Good swimming at the nice sandy beach is for free at Taumeasina Resort which is a 15 min walk away. They also have free floor shows in their Restaurant from Wednesday to Saturday that our guests love to go to.

  24. Olivias In House Rules

    OLIVIAS GREEN POLICY -- ELECTRICITY IS EXPENSIVE, AND WATER IS PRECIOUS. PLEASE TURN OFF WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM. A STAFF MEMBER WILL TURN OFF YOUR AIR-CONDITIONING WHEN YOU ARE AWAY AND HAVE FORGOTTEN TO TURN IF OFF AND WILL TURN IT BACK ON WHEN YOU RETURN.

    NO CANDLES OR FLAMMABLE ITEMS IN THE ROOM. FINES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY FIRE THAT IS STARTED BY YOU.

    NO SMOKING IN THE ROOMS.

    NO DRUGS ON THE PROPERTY.

    GATE IS CLOSED FROM 11:30 PM.

    NO VISITORS FROM 10:30PM – 7:30AM.

    NO SMOKING IN THE ROOMS.

    PLEASE VACATE THE NO. 1 SITTING AREA BY 10:00 PM IN CONSIDERATION FOR OUR SLEEPING GUESTS. TO CONTINUE YOUR ENTERTAINING, YOU ARE WELCOME TO MOVE TO THE BACK SITTING AREA NO. 2 (TV ROOM).
